My car's doing my head in when i start her she runs all lumpy and then whenever i depress the clutch the revs will shoot up to 3000 highly annoying when your sat in traffic looking like your revvin hard when your not.  Can't figure out what's wrong with her its drivin me crazy.  Tried lowering the idle but it aint working.  Anyone got any ideas.  Cheers

Theres a number of things to check.

Check all air hozes for splits or cracks.
Make sure intake hose is secure with no gaps anywhere.
Clean out ISV
clean throttle body
check oxygen setting

Still having problems Marco get a bit of wedge spent getting it tuned matey think you've tried everything now!!

yeah i would its just finding someone up north who knows what the hell they're talking about.  Also if there's something mechanically wrong i'd rather have it fixed before i shell out on it being tuned if you will.  Don't wanna go to a rollin road and have them tell me I need a new blah blah bllah and there's not a lot they can do until i get one lol.  With the luck i have mate it would be the sort of thing that happens

my driver had similar symptoms ,it used to almost shake the whole car at the lights when they did the timing tensioner and belt this stopped so i guess it was a timing issue , dont know if that helps

I am going to be up north next week and was looking at going to stealth for a day to get mine all set up properly. but probably not till the next week, if that makes sense.

whereabouts is stealth.  I will let you know if i lose the problem after the mixture, timing etc has been changed
