If you PM me the reg no Jim I'll get you the trade price, then just add about £1000 - £1500 for a realistic private sale if you're patient.

It would be interesting to know how far off the mark my £10k trade price estimate is.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

I think you're going to be close to the trade price mate.

This might surprise a few of you but even at trade price you're looking at £11k give or take on bottom book and nearer £13k at top book price.
Basically you're looking well in excess of £12k even if you sold it to a dealer if it's still mint.

These cars drop like a stone in early years of depreciation then really even out.

My mk6 is only (at book price) worth £300 less than when I traded it in October - the mk7 I replaced it with has probably dropped about £5k!!!! OUCH! I'm too scared to even look!

I bought my 10 plate a month ago, so I douby much has changed, I was looking at autotrader and every other possible sales avenue including auctions and so on. Over a period of 6 weeks I watched closely at all the movement.
I would for sure say you can get 13K, I saw many 2009's sell for approx 13-13.5K with similar spec to yours, none had rear LED's.
The only ones That were selling for 12K were ones with 100K+ miles with basic specs,
Some of the ones that sold for 13K came and went very quickly.

One with no factory options I would have thought.
