Try the B9007 from just outside Carrbridge to just outside Forres. It is about 12 miles of twisting road that makes its way over the moors with great visibility, not that you are likely to see another car, maybe a sheep or two. Also towards the Forres end is a fantastic little spot called Randolphs Leap by the river Findhorn. Blink and you will miss it and that would be real shame as it is worth stopping for.

Made the 600 mile trip today to get to Tomintoul, hope to visit Loch Ness in a few days.

 :sick: :sick: :sick: :sick: that's my jealousy splitting all over the place... the longest I get to drive in Cyprus is about 150 miles if i ever decided to see the island from one side to the other ... what I wouldn't give to b able to drive the little beast up those highlands

Some cracking views up in the mountains, one of the perks of living in Scotland  :smug:

I am lucky enough to get some late season salmon and trout fishing every year in Oban...so this year will be first long trip in the Gti

its a cracking drive once I have cleared Glasgow...really looking forward to it

actually thats not strictly true..my first long drive is next week from Newcastle to Wokingham....but it looks a terrible drive and nothing to get excited about!!  but at least the seats are comfy
