Before and after..
« on: 24 April 2014, 15:32 »
Well finally got My GTI in to a decent state with the Monza II wheels diamond cut with new Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres fitted and Bilstein B4 Sport dampers and -25mm Eibach Sportsline springs to replace the broken old OEM stuff , car looks great now and just feels so agile and has retained very close to OEM ride quality too. It really is a worthwhile upgrade to anyone considering suspension changes and didn't cost the earth either. Next step a little more power via a custom remap.

Thanks guys , it does look great and handles superbly too , and now after a little fiddling from my friend Wak of WakTT.com my GTI now feels like a different car showing live readings of 266 BHP and 312 LBFT and on MRC Tunings rollers on Saturday it showed a similar 257 BHP and an even stronger 319 LBFT ! And the car feels super torquey and in 4th , 5th and 6th the car really pulls with shocking vigour for a 2.0T. Well chuffed with the results so thanks to Wak.  :P

Have you had the alignment sorted after lowering? 25mm drop looks good.

Moving over to Flickr, sorry for the broken picture links!
