I see they've mentioned VRS, does that mean they should be able to map the GTD too? Any idea on these figures?

They mean the petrol, on vw and skoda are using the gti setup this time. Although saying that once this is sorted I'm sure they'll move on to the dervs

and one of Apr's comments say that the s3 is getting 360, still sizable gap between the two but compared to the last gen this is really good news, no longer is it 90 bhp gap between the models (270 against 360 for instance)

KO4 cars only ever made 300-310 stage 1 so where you get that figure from

I know a ecu flashed GTI is noticeably quicker than a stock R ;)

I was on about what the turbos could take you to before you have go bigger, the best a mk6 gti could get was 270 and the cupras get to 360 although some are running higher with wmi kits

Ah I see, I wrongly assumed that VRS was the Skoda tuned Diesel range. Cheers

From Facebook;

MK7 Golf GTI and Octavia VRS Owners, we have a treat for you soon! APR, LLC. MK7 GTI Software is nearly ready for release, and just look at those gains!!

God - was that on a standard car? No exhaust or air filter mods?  :shocked:

1- Is this the map they are going to release...??
2- What is the engine putting out to begin with..??

Still impressive

They won't say what it started with as it will diminish their overall gains figure but I don't think we should worry about it they should all make the same. But I am interested in what they release it as probably slightly less than peak figures just for reliability reasons. Wish they'd put up a date tho
