Damp water in my rear driver footwell on my v5
« on: 14 April 2014, 15:59 »
Hi guys

need some help asap....

I have a damp carpet in the rear passenger floor in my v5.
Done a water test and all door seals are perfectly fine. no sunroof either so rather confused as to why this is happening. Rear wiper disconnected and this is not the cause of the water either.

still scratching my head as I cant find out what and where the problem is.

please help.

Its common for the rain tray on passenger side scuttle below windscreen to leak water onto the pollen filter then comes out through the heater blower motor under the dash although i'd expect a damp front footwell too but most of the water will end up at rear footwell regardless. Easy to check by seeing if your pollen filter is saturated.
