Car is slammed But rubbing on?
« on: 12 April 2014, 12:12 »
My car is as low as the coilovers go, But when i turn right in the car it rubs on my anti roll bars? Do i need to get shorter ones or longer, can't remember what the guy at the MOT place said.

Also where do i get these from?

Really you need an ARB that goes under the driveshaft, adjustable drop links may help but often do not completely solve the problem.

Whiteline ones go under the driveshaft but I'd be looking for one off a MK1 TT/S3, LCR or VRS

As dom says  i tried adjustable droplinks and it still didn't completely stop mine rubbing, also worth noting that its quite possible that you will chafe through one of the lower intercooler pipes i found this out the hard way on r-tech's dyno  :lipsrsealed:

Whiteline ones go under the driveshaft but I'd be looking for one off a MK1 TT/S3, LCR or VRS

I've already given you examples of 5 different arb's.

Whiteline occasionally come up on eBay or a forum's classified, otherwise get one new from one of the dozens of websites that sell them.

As for the others, again eBay, forums or a scrap yard.
