Got home from work this morning and decided as it was a decent day i would crack on with a couple of jobs i had in mind, seeings as i had some paint etc  so i have ordered some bora sport foils and decided to remove the plastic lense on a cluster i got the other day also i wanted to paint the needles to so after some attention with some aluminium paint i now have this

decided to go subtle with making it look like it has the chrome rings fitted and the needles will add to that effect, just need the foils fitting when they arrive then a ultra careful job of removing the plastic lense from the cluster in the car
hopefully if alls good then it should make a nice little addition to the interior

Next up i thought well i would like the coilpack tops painting in satin silver and it seemed like a good time to remove and inspect the old plugs although they looked oldish they were in vgc but i decided i may aswell replace them so dropped in a set of super4's,did a bit of cleaning up on the cam cover and coilpack wiring then cracked on and got all the coilpack tops painted hopefully should get all this re-fitted tommorrow and at some point the cam cover is planned to get painted or powder coated, instrument cluster may happen if the plastic lense comes off complete  if not then the needles will be fitted along with the foils which hopefully will be here early next week

Few pics of the coilpacks(will post up some pics when fitted)

wondered how long it would be before i started doing stuff to the golf  :lipsrsealed:
