I am a lucky owner of a Mk1 GTi Cabrio! such a head turner, such an unusual car, however the person who i bought it from had left it for 14 months in his garage. I have had all the usual problems with it alternator, headgasket etc. however after owning it for 7 weeks, and actually being able to drive it for 8 days!!!!! the engine has started making a knocking noise. So regretedly i need to get rid of it. does anyone know how i can get rid of it? im hopin to sell it as a project car maybe for around £700....
