VR6 Leather seats in a golf gti 2.0

Hi guys, was just wondering will leather interior (front seats back seats and door panels) be a straight swap from a vr6 into a gti instead ? as i have some one i know selling for cheap. Thanks in advance guys

It will be a straight swap as long as both cars have the same amount of doors in regards to the door cards.

Yep they will be the same. Unless its a highline and then the stitching will be different and thats it. Also recaros but dont think the vr had them.

easy mate, if youve not got a haynes manual there will probably be some vids on youtube

Yeah easy enough. Will be hidden bolts so make sure you get them all before you try to pull door cards off. The only tricky bit will be the seat belts but thats easy too.
