gti 1.8t bad idle

Yet another idel thread lol. Iv got my gti booked in next week for this but thought id see if any one can shed some light on my problem.

Car runs fine but when I come to a stand still the reves drop down (to the point of stalling) then thay pick back up it dose this for about 10 seconds then settles down to just under 1000rpm and ticks over fine.

Any one think thay can shed some light on this its got me stumped.

Mine did this it was a dirty throttle body easy job to clean with CARE. It took no longer than 30 mins todo complete job.think there is a write up somewhere on here.

Cheers chaps just spent the last hour in garage cleaning the throttle body and the small sensor just after it. Put all back together and car seems to already be running 100% better.
