wet rear seat
« on: 05 April 2014, 20:59 »
so yesterday I got in the car and noticed a horrible damp smell, no idea where it was coming from.. got in the car today, smell still there, had to put the rear seats flat down today to get a bike in the back, when I noticed that when I pulled the bottom seat out, underneath was wet, it wasn't soaked, but that was definitely the damp I could smell.. pulled the little bit of carpet back and noticed a rubber bung which is basically under the seat, I pulled it out and it was wet. noticed it was damp in that "secret" tunnel under the seat too.. looked underneath the car and noticed a hole.. looked the other side, same hole has a rubber bung in.. anyone know where i can get one of these bungs, supposed VW? although I expected they will charge the earth for it lol

Or a scrappy if there's one near you? Doors open and heating on whilst you Hoover it out and polish it
