mk 2 ciggy lighter / 12v setting?

hi, i got a normal mk 2 1.3 c, and i want to fit a ciggy lighter, only thing is, i need 2 to be put in, so how do i do it, i want to know basically, how u step down the battery power to a 12v setting?

oh yeh, do i have to do anything to the fuse box, coz i want to protect the rest of the wiring

The battery is already 12v.

so if i wanna put say a 12v accesory on there, do i just wire it direct to the battery?, coz the thing has a ciggy lighter adaptor ting on there and i aint got a ciggy lighter, so can i just wire it direct to the battery

get a gti centrel console of something as they have cig lighters.

take a (+) and (-) and connect it to the cig lighter. The outer on the cig lighter will be the (-) and the inner center bit will be the (+)

you need a fuse on the (+) wire and ive forgotten what size. great

wire up the dash light which will be grey and blue wire which you can take from the heater console light
