never declared any mods on any of my cars, ive never had an issue. always seems to double the premium so i never bother

You not tried shopping around then??  I found my modified policy was cheaper than a bog standard one

Also what happens when someone hits you and the insurance company wont pay you a penny because your policy is void?

Have a happy easter

would of put their insurance up obviously. but id rather pay the scum bags if and when i have too rather than up front every year. they charge enough as it is anyway!

Out of interest who are you insured with? There are lots of specialist companies around, greenlight insure me with all my mods and it's not much more expensive that the cheapest quote on go compare with a standard car.

admiral multicar at the minute, literally shopping around now after reading this thread trying to find a decent price with everything declared.

i do shop around, but last year non of the independent places would cover me so had to go through comparison site. added coilovers and exhaust on compare the market and the premium went from £450 to £1300

I'm with admiral, with exterior changes exhaust non standard alloys went up by less then £20 and when ask for a quote for remap and intake I was less then £20 again so for £40 I think its worth it that's on a £600 policy

First and foremost, you're a bellend. Anyone who thinks it's ok to drive around without declaring mods is a complete moron. Regardless of the fact you have paid Admiral, you are not currently insured. If you hit someone, and an assessor picks up on any/all mods to your vehicle, they WILL tell your insurer who will then not pay out to you.

If you can't afford the insurance due to mods, or don't want to pay it, then don't do the mods.

Also, I'd suggest amending your posts as considering you have just openly said on a public forum that you haven't declared mods you could find yourself in a bit of bother.

I wonder what Admiral would make of this. **Goes to ring them now.**
