Oil pressure issues
« on: 04 April 2014, 18:04 »
I have a AGU and I'm getting the oil pressure light coming on if its revved. It only seems to have started happening since I fitted a relocation kit for the oil pressure sensor. Was running fine before that. Just wondering whether if anyone else has had this problem since using a kit.

Only fitted it as I fitted a oil pressure gauge and the other place on the housing rounded off so needed a extra space. I have fitted a new sensor, checked the pick up which is clear, the oil pump is new, running fresh Fuchs 5W 40 but still getting the stop warning.

The oil pressure gauge is showing 70-72 psi on tick over which is high from what ive read, if revved to about 3k will go up to over 85 psi and the warning will come on.

Also running a oil cooler, anyone any ideas?

Lol yes mate, solve one and there are 2 others!

The wiring was fine in the end, the reason for it not working was down to the fpr  so the system not getting any fuel, took me a while to work it out but now thats fine cheers mate
