key cutting
« on: 03 April 2014, 15:36 »
when i bought my golf, it only came with one key, i've got a spare fob from my previous golf.. all i want is the blade cut.. no one will cut it for me.. how ridiculous, I know its a security thing but when the owner can't even get a spare key cut then it becomes a joke really.. anyone had similar problems? im not paying over £120 to get a key cut which is what Timpson's said it would cost!

It will, however, open the door if pesky electrical gremlins in the door module autolocks your good key into the car.

OP a car key cutting place will do it if you have your documents.
