Which one you looking at?

Just keep an eye open on the for sale section on here, I got my cat back for £350 instead of £900ish
Hopefully the 3 inch cat back for now. Thanks for the tip, I'll definitely keep an eye out as I'm not looking to get it for a while.

Nice.

I keep thinking of things to do to mine to, whichis a candy white GTD. To be honest, as it's a daily I've been saving to get the extras that weren't on the air when I got it, which it integrated bluetooth with audio streaming and front and rear parking sensors.

I looked into the rear LEDs as I have the old style ones, and I think thr LEDs look great, but the recoding for them puts me off... Cosmetically, I really the black on white look, so just looking to get the usual things painted/wrapped/dipped, which would be thr front splitter, wing mirrors and roof.

But above all that, I'm thinking that a remap is the priority. I've seen Docs posts about Carbon tuning, and will probably try to get in touch as who can argue with better performance and potentially better economy :)

Good luck with the mods mate, hope you can get all the money together to do what you want!

I keep thinking about changing the rear lights but I don't think it's worth the money, the recoding with VCDS really isn't hard and it's not something to be worried about one bit. If you get a copy or know someone who has there some nice little tricks you can do. Things like turning off the auto rear wiper when putting into reverse and dial staging.

A cat back I think is a must as it give the GTI the sound it should have but doesn't become over powering and can still have a convo when sitting at 70 on the motorway

Got the roof wrapped today by Premier Signs in Colchester. (I would highly recommended, friendly bunch of guys with very good prices.) Cost £150 + VAT. Let me know what you think. The material is 3M black Carbon.

Apr Carbonio Stage 1 intake installed, along with Porsche 911 oil cap and coolant cap. All brought from awesomegti.com. Some of you will notice that part of the engine cover is missing as i've stripped it down to be sent away and get dipped in white and black carbon.

That looks like a quality job   I do like a black roof on a candy white.

Engine will look smart once the finished cover is on too.  Any other plans?

Been a long time since I posted here but while I've been gone I've finally got round to buying Stage 2 of the Carbonio Intake system from AwesomeGTi, installing the new look engine cover that has been dipped in true gold weave look carbon fibre by AquaGraphix and had I've had the Centre of the cover, the battery cover and the fuse box cover all sprayed in matching candy white paint by a mate who does vehicle spraying .

I like the engine cover, think I'd have gone with carbon for the other bits to match the air intake
