How come the 'CCTV' camera perfectly pans and follows the car on its way to the hedge?

I know in my DSG car, (I don't use the Auto Hold feature so the Automatic handbrake isn't active)
In mine the auto handbrake does not seem to be linked to Auto Hold. I have never pressed the Auto hold button the handbrake will come off automatically if you accelerate in Drive (with seat belt on).

It's just a pan crop, zoomed in on the original footage - you can see its lower resolution than the first camera.

I like how Trooper's face is blurred out, "wanted, for crimes against GTI's!"

Bad luck dude, going to keep an eagle eye on my handbrake light when I get it!

Handbrake as mentioned won't disengage without foot on the brake pedal unless you have
seatbelt on, auto hold is active, engine is running and you release clutch and put the throttle down.... so kids can't disengage by accident by pushing button down, unless someone is holding the foot brake.

Normally hand brake engages if auto hold is active as soon as you open door when you're wearing seat belt (always catches me out when I park the car on offside and open door so I can see kerb). So he either didn't wear seatbelt or had auto hold disabled....

I also find it quite suspicious that there are two camera (one perfectly moving with the car but at useless angle where you could not really see driver if someone was to knick it).

Lol, I can only imagine if it were mine, you'd see me in the video sprinting after it like Usain Bolt!!

If this is a setup, it would seem a rather expensive and elaborate way of getting the attention of Hollywood producers....

What CCTV system is that? It's excellent

My commiserations for the car
Thanks.
I had forgot about the cameras around the house, Lucky or unlucky my lad remembered.
As for set up they are IP Camera 1.3MP 720P Megapixel HD Network QVIS Mini Bullet 3.6mm IR 20m.
And as you see are very good and can see them on a phone anywhere in the world.
Got them from here
http://www.netviewcctv.co.uk/index.php/
They sell on ebay too and have had no problems, and they will give you help on setting up.
IT can only get better!!!
