can anyone get the code for standard sat nav

can anyone get the code for standard sat nav mine is asking for the code so is it a trip to the dealer or can i get it another way

I had the same satnav, but it was out of a Seat Toledo. It didn't come with a code, so I wrote down all of the reference numbers on the unit and called up a few local Seat dealers. A couple wanted to charge me, but the third said that they would get back to me. Sure enough, I received a phone call a few days later telling me exactly what the pin code was

I don't think they're allowed to charge for the code...

nice 1 will give that a try

knowing the stealers im sure they have took a few quid over the years for this

I was warned that some would try it on. As I said, by the third dealers I had it free
