well.........

finally the car is back on the road! covered first 20 miles just now!

had a few issues on first crank maybe because im a crank :grin: basically was cranking for a while but no fire, so looked in the cockpit and no fuel? it had at least £30 in it??? turns out i swapped the fuel for the water pipe feed and emptied the tank in the radiator haha!!!
then there was a exhaust leak which was the egr gasket.. i put it in wrong!! i must concentrate more!!
but after 50 drains of water and setting the thermostat and fan its all done!

i must make a build thread but i was so busy hands on.... ill make one and post pics as soon as i do the delete n279 :cool:

devastated my mk4 ended up costing me nearly 4k but at least she is a peach now :)

autodata was a lifesaver :) and the help of my friend carlos and his workshop.... thank you

thanks bro! it is such a better feeling knowing you did yourself :) i struggled changing an auxiliary belt before now :whistle:

Yeah its worth learning that way in the long run u mite save a few pennies in labour

Congrats mate. Take it easy with the revs. And you might have to do an oil change after 1k miles i think
