I know she is not a Golf but she is a 1.8 Turbo 1999 150 BHP Passat Estate. I think something is not right with my car as sure she should be quicker?

Here is the 0-70 video........

Definately dog slow between 40 and 60. Boost leak mabye. Vagcom or even a basic code reader would be your best bet to begin with.

Thanks mate

Tried Vagcom and it came up clear, no faults. So far in the 5 weeks I have owned her I have done.....Oil and oil filter change, new airfilter, new plugs, cleaned out thottle body and cleaned MAF.

Maybe as you say, a boost leak from somewhere as there seems to be sooooo many turbo vac pipes around. I have checked as many as I can and so far they all seem ok. Wonder if I can find somewhere that will do a boost check, or I wonder if it could be something worse like something to do with the Turbo itself?
