Right then - car collected with no issues. Really chuffed with it. Didn't spot another GTI or GTD in my travels

Can't post photos as I'm on the crappy Travelodge internet and can't get them off my camera, but I will in the new arrivals section later (although it's yet another Pure White one!)
Positives...
Did about 150 miles in the time I've had it, got used to the electronic parking brake and it's great to have some 'quick' steering again (my Astra VXR was 2.5 turns lock to lock but the car I've borrowed is 3.5 - lots of wheel twirling!)
Looks even better in the flesh than in photos and feels very well built. Dynaudio sounds great, had it cranked up and the mirror was vibrating and still sounded crystal clear (and this is coming from ~£1000 worth of ICE in my Astra).
Lights all look cool (I popped out and found a window on a retail park for a play with them lol) and the interior lighting was also spot on.
Bluetooth connected easily.
Even though I'm running it in it seems very 'eager' on part throttle at around 3-4000rpm. I thought it might feel a little flat after my (tuned) Astra but all smiles so far - if I struggle it'll be tuning box/remap time!
The adjustable boot floor is a good idea - I'll have to see which setting the dog likes it on though (after the dog guard and bumper protection go in/on).
No sounds coming from the front suspension (or rear for that matter).
All in all really chuffed with it, but...
Negative...
Even though I've taken delivery yesterday and ordered in early october, my car must have been built very quickly (or be old stock that just happened to match my spec exactly) as it's got an MDI connector, not a USB which is a bit of a pain as I don't have an iPhone (or anything made by apple). That said, I would have only used it to plug my phone in and then shut the cover to the compartment to charge my phone up, but a little niggle nonetheless.
Apart from that the biggest negative was dropping it off to get shipped over to Cyprus - I'll not see it until at least the 21st now and when I do it'll probably be covered in dirt from the voyage!!
I was originally looking at ether the Golf GTI or a new Astra VXR but I feel I've made the right choice (thankfully)
Edit - I don't think it's been standing long at the port, there isn't a hint of corrosion on the brake disc centres (which some have commented on)
Edit 2 - It's on Continentals too, not Bridgestones - they might be a bit dated but they're still pretty good!
