Does it ever end
« on: 27 March 2014, 22:02 »
So got the decat on the car still feels flat got the front mount installed car still feels flat
Cleaned throttle body and new gasket changed the maf new n75 brake booster pipe then it boosted to near 20psi felt insanely quick so problem solved for about 20 miles and the gearbox dies sounds like a bolt is bouncing round in there and when I put it in 5th it sounds like a whole bag of spanners
I have sourced a gearbox and will fit it this or next weekend I wonder how long until something else pops

Somebody quote me if I am wrong, but not sure if there was a break booster on the AGU.

But on the AUM, etc. it run from the inlet and then splits into 2 vacuum and then runs to the firewall on the right handside of the engine bay ( ----------=========)

Im sure there is are recall for it on the AA website when I looked a few weeks back.

On a seprate note, my mate has a remapped aum and is break booster is leaking, bu the car still runs alot of boost.

Don't actually know if it is a brake booster now it was the one that runs off the right hand side of the inlet manifold off of the end and it runs to the firewall it looked like it had been attacked by kittens real poor quality pipe I got one from the scrapper temporarily until I can get something better for it
