Deep Black Pearl.
Did a bit of tinkering adding the station logo's last night - wouldn't say I'm happy with those supplied by VW as they look a bit too blocky (the curse of Apple retina screens I suppose) and I know there's some higher res ones in the maintence section so will give those a go later...

Very nice, the GTD/GTI looks very mean in black. We have swapped colours, as my car before the current was black
Let me know how you get on with the radio logo's, will be doing that myself shortly!
3 more sleeps for me...

Decided I'm definitely going to swap out the orange bulbs, they stick out like a sore thumb. The turning lights aren't half bright and because they always semm to be on when on my twisty housing estate I'll have burned these standard bulbs out in no time!
Not had time for a good waxing yet, but the alloys have had 2 coats of poorboys wheel sealant...

Picked up this morning, the car is amazing, absolutely love it and the wait was well worth it. Will hopefully give it a detail tomorrow and post some pics, but even without a wash it looks incredible in the sun, so much gold flake
Edit, a pic (it hasn't been washed yet at my request, so quite dirty).

Lovely
Did you go for the advanced phone kit? Just wondering how it differs from the standard...

Thanks p9ul, I didn't get advanced phone prep sorry. I have a standard mdi port and blue and green collar iphone cables included.
Took her out for a lunchtime spin and she's certainly getting some looks - and some compliments from colleagues.
Looking forward to my drive home now

Ahh, OK - I thought you only got the aerial with the advanced phone kit. The standard does me just fine anyway - connects via bluetooth and you can assign 4 favourite numbers to the touchscreen - which also gives a readout of the battery and signal strength of the phone.
One other little touch I've noticed is the wheel centre caps have a carbon effect behind the VW logo

Ah I see, I think the 'shark tooth' is with the Sat Nav - if you don't have that? I've got the standard Nav.
Phone system sounds good, will set that up later. As for little touches, finding plenty of those already too!
