kC99, I take no pleasure in over taking you again!!

My car is arriving at the dealers first half of next week (although I won't count my chickens until they've been unloaded from the transport), so expecting to pick it up towards the end of the week or bank holiday weekend perhaps.

Thanks for the insurance details, will be doing that for sure.

Just got to sort selling my car too, will probably just use webuyanycar.com as it's not worth a lot, and there's one close to the dealer so I can do it all in one trip.

ffrank, my dealer offered me £150 more than webuyanycar, plus they've actually had a look at it (although they were £200 lower than what we were offered by a mini dealer). Ford C-max, and a complete shed which I can't wait to be rid of!!

Thanks for the heads up - I gave it a go, but it wasn't a good offer. I think you did well, I've had pretty poor offers from several dealers (including the previous ones I bartered for a GTD with.) I think I am going to sell it privately, and if it doesn't sell in a month or so hand it back to the finance company - which works out a bit better than WBAC.com.

Any news on your car? Mine is waiting a truck still, hopefully will get it next weekend. So many lotteries taking place on the delivery time between the factory and us!

(JCB Gillingham)

They'll only let me pay £1k by credit card.

They probably realised how much it cost them when I paid for my GTD in full last year using a cashback credit card lol whoops

Got by stage 6 text a few days ago so hopefully not long now. Every day between 09.00 & 9.10 the last few weeks I've just been staring at my phone...

Nice p9ul!! I really hope I join you at the weekend, no ETA yet - still waiting for a truck.

What colour is your GTD btw? Night blue here.

Love that colour ffrank - would probably have gone for that myself if my last 2 cars hadn't been that colour already!

Picked mine up this afternoon - really impressed so far - not had chance to have a good fiddle with all the settings yet but I will.

One pleasant surprise is that I don't think I'm gonna have to tinker with the artwork resolution to get that displaying on the screen - I read elsewhere that it only accepts 400x400 resolution but all my artwork in my mp3's is at 600x600 and it's downscaling everything thing - although all the images tend to have a white line around then, whether this is a normal thing or down to downscaling I don't know though. I got a 64gb SD from Amazon for £20 it's going to save a lot of effort when I start dumping music onto the card.

We're expecting crappy weather all weekend so no waxing for me probably - might squeeze a few photo's in with a rainy lake district backdrop though!

Fairly impressed by the standard sound system too, was tempted by the dynaudio but I think I saved myself £500 there
