Mk2 genuine wings

Hi I'm wondering if anyone knows where I can get genuine mk2 wings, phoned vw this morning and they are obsolete and I don't really want to use reproduction ones but may have no choice!
Any help would be much appreciated.

Other than breakers yard, this is your best bet.

Try VW Heritage, a few years ago VW produced a batch of panels due to demand, if enough people enquire, then maybe they'll do it again, as they still have the tooling!
Other than that, keep your eye on ebay, and also ebay.de the german site

Thanks for the replies, I have tried vw heritage and they only sell pattern wings which will prob have to do but I will keep my eyes peeled over the summer and hopefully will find some oem ones.

Something I never understand; why are the pattern parts so bad? If someone has gone to the effort of creating a rep why don't they make them well. If vw are no longer making parts why don't they sell the jigs/specs to a third party company and everyone profits from it?

Nice find Lewy! for that price I would want to confirm that they are genuine, as there are no VW labels showing in the pics. VW logo should be stamped into the top fitting edge
