stalling when i put the clutch down!

my mk2 to 8v has started stalling when i put the clutch down so i thought id get her some plugs leads dizzy cap and rotary arm the usual to see if it would help.what do you think?no it has made no difference excepts it starts on the button now does any1 have any ideas?

if there are no air leaks then give the inlet a proper clean out and turn the idle screw very slightly in the anti clockwise direction.

Clean out the ISV and check for vacuum leaks as said, try not to fiddle with the idle screw if you can help it though as this will upset the mixture :)

yea heres a few things:

check the ISV, make sure its not full of gunk.
check the rubber inlet hose for cracks
check the airflow sensor by the air filter
check the vacuum system
check the fuel rails power supply wires
check the ISV wire system
check the engine timing, make sure 10 deg's retarded
