More important than all the above - how much is she worth?  What's the budget?
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

Get her an actual present, then get creative and make something nice for her(meal, birthday card, etc) so she knows you've put effort into her birthday and not just been to a shop and bought something. Women love knowing their boyfriend have put time, thought and effort into something for them.

Sorry guys but I had to butt in, some of your comments are really funny (I mean that in the nicest sense) :) From a girls point of view get something that she has an interest in and that looks like you have put some thought into it. Make her feel special for the day (and I don't just mean in bed) lol.

btw not all girls love shoes, i'd rather have a drifting experience day lmao

How many pairs do you have? I have 4 if you include my work boots an fishing waders
My better half still has the kate moss birthday card I made her years ago, so homemade card and romance is a win not sure if she still has the shoes though

I don't really wear shoes I prefer boots and converse/vans etc. I do have more than 4 pairs of these combined not including wellies and stable boots lmao ;)

Romance and thought is much better than material things unless it's a new golf r :)
