monza tyre valves
« on: 10 March 2014, 19:10 »
i've just managed to let the air out of my rear tyre because the valve is too short... i took it to the local tyre centre and they said it's an odd valve that's been put in at some point and it's too short.

does anyone know if the 18" monzas have a certain type of valve that needs to be fitted? i was thinking of getting a set of these but not sure they'll be suitable:

cheers

It sounds like you need the bespoke metal VW valve. Part number for the valve is 1K0601361

Without traction power is nothing!
