cutting out issue
« on: 10 March 2014, 17:50 »
Afternoon guys, was wondering if any of you could help out with an issue I've been having at its quite hairy

About 2-3 mins of starting my car and pulling off I would then suddenly loose power and the engine dies. The radio still works and the battery light then comes on.

It did this 3 times in the space of 5 minutes whilst in traffic and taking a corner. Took it to halfrauds and they did a battery check and showed good charge, all pipes are secure and the battery is all connected up.

Anybody possibly help with this?

Petrol filter got crap in it or your tank sucking up debrie causing it to stop. does it seem like fuel starvation when it cuts out? Once your cars running it wont be a battery fault causing total power loss.

Remember. If the engine isn't on but electrics are the bat light comes on. So as above more likely to be engine related than bat/alt
