The new tyres have made such a difference. It's a novelty actually being able to get the power down!

I had them before and the wear rate was no worse than The Conti 5s or the Goodyears.. Superb grip in the wet

10K for a tyre which costs approx £40 more than the Vreds that covered 15K and offered no more in the way of performance. I can say the same about the Goodyear F1's too

F1 are in the middle of those two, same grip as Vred, tad more to buy...but better fuel economy and better in the rain

so for me F1's and Vred are equal

So the Vreds are only £60 each, nice price, as the PS3s are costing £100 after the voucher.

I found the Vreds had nowhere near as good grip in the wet and as there is that much rain in this country that is more important to me than getting an extra few thousand miles.

Vreds are £80 a corner so forget about the voucher as how often do they come up and you have to buy 4 tyres....

Tyres are subjective. For me there is no difference between Vreds, F1's or the PS3's apart from price. I do approx 20k a year for me tyre wear is key. I dont want to be buying a set of tyres every 12 months....
