will need mapping having a stronger actuator/ slightly different turbo as it's probably over boosting with the new turbo on

do you have VDCS or a fault code reader?

I am not sure if it is stronger actuator than my Forge. I was thinking of putting my Forge with the yellow spring back on because it was remapped at stage 2 with it.

I have the free version of VCDS and a liquid cube, but no faults are showing up, or were you thinking of doing certain logs?

If it's anything other than an AGU you can log the requested vs actual boost

can that be done on the free version of VCDS? If not I have a liquid cube and that has something that measures the N75 position. Would that be the same ?

Update!  I had another look for some leaks and underneath the metal plate that is attached to the inlet manifold there was a silicone pipe which is connected to the N112 valve (I think), which I could very easily pull off the valve because the screw on the hose clip had popped out, so I fitted a cable tie and a new hose clip. This definitely made the car much better as I was hitting 17 psi and holding about 15-16  psi, where as before it was only holding at 10-11 psi. I then adjusted the actuator this morning to 3 & 1/2 turns of preload and now the car is holding boost at 18 psi. I  did the usual bhp test of red line in 3rd and I got 243 bhp  :smug:

The car feels so much better and pulls really well

I still think I will go to R-tech and get Niki to tweak the map a bit for the new turbo, supersize tip and ported manifold. I am also thinking of adding some better injectors, and maybe Devils own wmi. As far as I know from what I have read, I can do this without changing the maf because it is an AUM.

What do you guys think?

You may need the S3 MAF for more power. They're not that expensive and can always be sold on again if not actually needed

ok, thanks. Is the S3 MAF the same size as my AUM one. i.e will it fit in the tip I already use?

Rip it all out and delete the N249 and N112, fit a catch can, one of the best mods I ever did
ARZ K03s, Oettinger Side Skirts, R32 front, Carbon stage 2, Forge 007p (yellow spring), Forge Actuator (yellow spring), Pipercross panel filter with DSG parts, N249 and N112 deleted, SAI deleted, Carbon canister deleted, Rear wiper deleted, Long Life turbo back custom exhaust with 200 cell sports cat, VR6/G60 clutch kit, Creation Motorsport TIP, Catch can, 'Wellycooler', K04 charge pipe, S3 ported inlet manifold - looks pretty standard on the outside though :)
