Tailgate interior trim
« on: 02 March 2014, 12:35 »
Hi guys picked up my gti yesterday, I was looking through the whole car and found a flap in the tailgate in the middle of the handles that you use to close them. Does anyone know what's it's for looks like something clips into it. Can't find it in the manual.

Also I had the case of transportation pucks still in the car! Made it very bouncy! Dealer was really good, as a sorry I got 3 years free servicing

Cheers

Congrats on the new car!  The space you're referring to is for the warning triangle I believe

3 years servicing for missed pucks? Very generous, I got a £30 umbrella. Watch out for squeaky front suspension (damaged suspension mount bearings).
Whey ya bugger! It's finally arrived after an 8 month wait....

Thanks for the responses guys and like all really enjoying it!, I'll mention the missing triangle then. There is a rattle/vibration on the near side but I think it's interior because when there is a bassey song it occurs and is pretty load.

Cheers

I doubt you'll get a warning triangle out of them - although the safety kit is £18 on the configurator, might be worth it!

Yeah, it's not missing for UK cars, it's just space for an accessory
