I've tried Polyflex, thanks.

They're sh*t.

Replace with OEM rubber and TT bushes on the rear of the control arms - much better solution than that sh*t.
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

im looking for new suspension as well , my mk2 came with coilovers and they are an awful ride, they arent all the way down either, they rattle you like a rattling rattler. my mrs loves the car but the ride lets it right down.

was thinking of h r springs with 60mm drop, i just need to know which shocks to go for?

whos running h and r and what shocks have you got?

I currently standard suspension on my '91 8v apart from the poly bushes and 30mm Eibach lowering springs.  The handling is superb although fairly hard, but it's not spine breaking hard though.  The car drives like a go-kart, sticks in the corners really well.  Also I have good tyres (Yokohama S Drives).

Eventually I may upgrade the suspension further when I have spare money but as it stands I see no reason to at the moment.

Injection moulded polys are prone to setting and making for a hard ride. Make sure they are the non moulded type.
I found poly bushed cars to skitter on bumpy roads making me slow down more before corners, the rubber ones tend to take the bumps better imo, but the roads are sh!t round my way
