What McWill said really, just buy lowering springs. They will advertise what drop they are mainly 60mm or 40mm.

I would avoid cheapo coilovers if I was you.

When I came to do mine someone suggested OEM shocks and eibach springs. I did and it's fantastic, great ride. Eibach do 40mm drops. Cost me £200-300 IIRC
It's a mk2. Fill it, drive it, enjoy it.

Standard b4 bilstiens with eibach springs, mine are 60 mm lowered. Perfect. Don't waste time on coilovers unless you want to track it or spend all weekend adjusting them, measuring, adjusting, measuring, adjusting, etc etc.

Coilovers arnt that hard to adjust. Put them on once at a level height (not too low) and just leave them for a fortnight and let them settle. Now you can measure the drop you want, jack half the  car up at a time (front/rear) and lower them making sure to match the thread either side. Really isn't very difficult if you can jack half a car and remove a wheel.

Don't buy the cheap sh!t off eBay!!
If your going to do it then at least give your motor some respect. I chose GAZ coilovers with a 40mm drop and they are superb, teamed with Powerflex black series bushes all round and it's a sweet combination.
As for lowering springs, well, don't waste your money and save for a proper set.

Don't buy the cheap sh!t off eBay!!

including any coilovers under about £5-600

Powerflex black series bushes all round and it's a sweet combination.

But I wouldn't fit any of that rubbish.  Re-bush the front end with OEM rubber.  It's done 20 years why replace it with nasty polybush rubbish?
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

Holiday cottages on the Isle of Wight for 2-10 people? PM me.
