selling a shell where and how?

hi guys spot of trouble the engine on my mk4 golf packed up just after 79,000 miles so i stripped everything out ready for new engine or breaking for spares and repairs i tried selling it as a complete shell all the bits from the engine bay, the full lot in one go but ive had nothing am i asking for to much? i wanna try and get some money back from it and its far to good inside and out to scrap? what would you guys advise?>

Scrap it. No one is going to offer you any more than scrap prices for a MK4 shell, not as if they are rare.

I think you asking too much as it was very little mot and tax , and not complete ,ur best bet is too break it , as it's semi /full stripped, will just take time and effort,

Shells aren't worth anything unless you transport it to a scrapyard yourself.  I struggled to give my shell away last week as scrap value is so low right now.
