You must be able to get them apart, Jean Pierre has done his in pink!

I think he just stuck a pink stripe on the outside, inline with the red one?   Unless there is a better close up?

OR...that second picture is from a show in Japan....maybe aftermarket units.

From what I can make out a Japanese company Craftsman sell DRL kits to install the outside DRL the same as we get on the GTI/GTD as standard in Europe.  This guy has used one of these kits to also install the inside DRL as well as the outside one.

It seems to suggest you need to solder something into the fuse box behind the glovebox...  Puts me right off!

It's definatley stuck on but i reckon it's stuck on the inside, look at the reflections.
