I've just joined this forum. Hoping to get some good technical advice and help with a 1990 Mk2 GTi that I am in the process of restoring.

I also have a 205 GTi. I love my Golf, and I love my 205. Both are very different cars. Being both grown up and in possession of a brain, I can simply accept that they are different cars made by different manufacturers with different design intentions and different engineering priorities, producing very different results.

Do you hate French cars because they're French and you are all small minded bigots? There isn't one of you who has put up a half-rational answer.

VR6 - What's the point of all these topics ? expressing some sort of inferiority complex? Such a great V6 like yours should show off how good a golf is to all those 205 boys.... why not challenge such an inferior car.. like a 205 mi16 for example? instead of talking about how good your golf is, prove it to them
