Am a too fussy?
« on: 23 February 2014, 15:43 »
I've noticed the following trim faults in the tailgate spoiler and door rubber. Would you expect them to be rectified?

Hard to tell from the photos. What exactly is supposed to be wrong ?
I think you need to give a bit more description on each photo.
Nothing jumps out at me. Sorry

Sorry. Yes. The trim on the rear screen is not stuck down right to the bottom and so is lifting on one side and the window rubber on the drivers door does not sit snugly against the gloss black trim on the door frame, where as on the passenger door it does. Thanks.

Worth a word then if you are not happy.
One of glossy black rear window trims on my Scirocco has been like a wobbly tooth since day 1  but it has never  concerned me enough to take it back plus no one would know it was like that as it is positioned ok

So much for VW's legendary build quality ,the Mk 6 used to do this also the strips on the windows  at the bottom would work loose to.
Golfgti build quality is average at best.

Don't know where this legendary build quality crap came from but it's a load of guff.
