Sounds like a plan! Hope the rest of our cars are on that ship too! I've given myself until week commencing 7th April, so I'll be happy if I receive it by then.  :smiley:

And on that note, I have just had confirmation from the leasing company the car will be delivered to me on the 3rd April :) happy days. I've been given my reg. number to get it insured.

They have also confirmed it is going to be delivered on a trailer and not driven to me as originally stated. Happy with that :)

Sounds like I'm the last BW12! Haha.

Confirmed my car is still at Emden awaiting a boat. Annoyingly about 6 boats have done the Emden to Grimsby boat since my car arrived at the port and none have gone to Sheerness.  Dealer has said it will probably be at the dealer end of next week.

Glad you guys have got the 5c notifications.

I was genuinely starting to worry I'd ordered a lesser car than the GTI, but I'm now really looking forward to it since the comparison reviews have started coming out.

VW's twitter team confirmed my car is still at Emden apparently, so don't worry Jimmy it's not just you! I was gutted to find my car isn't in the UK yet as patience is really not my strong point.

Schelde Highway and Neckar Highway are both on their way to Grimsby. Still no boats to Sheerness...

African Highway had just docked and does the Sheerness run. Would be nice if they could do an overnight turn around and have any of our cars on the way to Sheerness by the time we wake up on the morrow.

No other ships known to be used by VW are anywhere near!

Also, my dealer confirmed that they have an agreement with the transport company that cars will be delivered to dealer from port within 7 days...
