Brakecaliper and wireloom?
« on: 21 February 2014, 14:17 »
Hi all... Norway calling here. I own a Golf 2 GTi 8v 84 mod and im looking for some parts that i find hard to locate im my own country.  I'm looking for the right rear brake caliper, and the wire loom for heated seats, i have fitted black leather seats, is form a golf so it's a original part. Or a wire diagram to make my own loom. Also im looking for the switch to the heating.

Hello and welcome to the forum.

As for the calipers - you can use later mk3 or mk4 calipers. Have a quick search

I have a heated seat loom and genuine switch that I will be taking out a car in a couple of weeks. The loom is quite confusing but the pads run 6v each in series so don't put 12v through them or you might kill them.

edit: Also a relay for each seat and the sensor on the seat bases is also required. This sensor is built into the heat pad.
