Just checked mine on the VW website. Not saying there is a recall but a few people have posted on the VW page on Facebook. I just did the same as they seem to reply (VW). Mine is a Dec-12 so not sure if it will be necessary...??

Called the dealer and told no recall on the system. What's the info sticker in the foot?

Dealers fit a sticker with work description code and dealer stamp next to the build spec sticker.

Yours must be ok and not needed, it is indeed only a recall for certain vin ranges and not all 35's according to the technician that done my work.

Thanks. I've looked at the sticker in the boot but couldn't see that code

Never trust VW, they lie.

If you asked if your car is affected make sure you have their response in writing.

Going to call my dealer Tom, I had a pully fail on me and timing belt was rubbing thro case not sure if it was due to the waterpump tho

had to pop into my local dealer on saturday and after punching in my reg they confirmed that my car is one of the ones that needs the pump recalled. booked in for tomorrow.

i have a 2012 ed35
