Got my first error this weekend "Maximum engine revs 4000 rpm". It seemed more an affect of the actual error. Car would not rev up as freely, power cut down by at least 50%. Error was followed by a "stop start system error". Switched car off and on and error would re-appear after seconds. Parked the car off for about 2 hours, error gone and it has been fine over the last 3 days *touch wood*
Still unsure as to what actually caused the error. Just thought I'd share this just in case any of the other members encounter the same or have some insight into why this happened.
