Many thanks Organisys. Yeah,Reading is a bit of a trek for me. But would be willing to consider travelling if their work is as good as you say.
You guys are extremely helpful. Have only joined up yesterday, but already have only positive things to say about this site and its members.

When I had my MK5 rear windows tinted it looked better but it left a visible line between the edge of the tint and the window. It was obvious and I felt that it detracted from the look. I've seen numerous cars on the road with tinted windows that have this edge. I was told there isn't anything you can do.

I think factory glass would look better long term, my MK6 has darker windows from factory.

So how about a nice colour coded rear bumper and some black Monza 18's? Would look good on Tornado Red .

Hey Poached,
Didn't ever really consider the edge of the tint and the window before. Never had the urge to get my previous mk4 tinted, but had put tints on to my black a4. So this time I am totally undecided at the moment which way I'll go with the mk5.
You read my mind about the rear bumper! As that was one of the first things I was thinking of changing. Considering putting rear sensors fitted too,in case the mrs wants to start driving it!
Think I'll be sticking with the monza's currently on the car, especially as I'm lucky to have inherited a set in extremely good condition!

What level of tints did you go for Missy?
Thanks for the recommendation of 'Phantom'. Are they very expensive. Will definitely look them up online. Any pics of the motor after tints done?

I had 20% tints on the all the rear windows although I think I should have gone for limo tint on the back door windows. It wasn't too bad price wise I guess lol. I need to take a better pic, I've got one when the sun was shining so it doesn't really look tinted at all as the sun is shining through!!

And then looked at my bank account!
And then counted the days until payday!
No,I'm gonna be strong and resist the change so soon, even though you clearly make a valid argument! Just gonna have to resist looking at that pic again!
