DAB Radio in the new GTI
« on: 18 February 2014, 18:00 »
Hello guys,

The DAB radio is excellent however I seem to struggle picking up certain radio stations (namely capital) in the Midlands area and some of the other stations seem to lose signal intermittently. Is this a common thing with DAB radio?
Current - MK7 Golf GTI - Tornado Red, 5 Door, DSG, Performance Pack, Dynamic Chasis Control, Panoramic Sunroof, Discover Navigation, Dynaudio.

On Order - MK7 Golf R - Pearlescent Black, 3 Door, DSG, Vienna Leather, Discover Nav Pro, Rear View Camera, High Beam Assist, Keyless Entry, Dynaudio (Tech Pack)

All gone.

Now;

MK7 Golf R - Lapiz Blue, 5 Door, DSG, Carbon Nappa, Discover Nav Pro.

capitol fm has poor midlands coverage, I found the same not just with golf but also other cars i test drove that had DAB.

issue with DAB (as with other digital wireless) is that it's either there or not... remember this well from using encrypted digital military radio....

Have you loaded the radio station symbols yet?
