Hi all,
Picked up my mk5 gti a couple of weeks back. My second gti after previously owning a mk4.
Just came across this site,and thought I'd introduce myself.
Sorry in advance if I've posted this in the wrong place.
Hope to get to know some of you guys in the future.

I see from your post,you now have a mk6. Nice. Couldn't stretch my budget to a mk6,so settled for a 5.

It's a 2008,5dr,with heated front leathers,and 18" Monzas. All standard kit.
Previous owner left a working bury Bluetooth kit which was a welcome addition.
Thinking of getting the rear windows tinted possibly.
Just enjoying driving a gti again after owning an a4 for a few years,after selling my mk4! :smiley:

All the guys on here are pretty helpful with stuff and there's loads of posts covering all sorts of stuff with the mk5's etc. I got my mk5 (55 plate) just before christmas with no intention of doing anything to it. Since then i've had the windows tinted and got it booked in for a remap and exhaust next week lol :) Alloys will be the next thing for me

Thanks Missy. Yeah,I've already been impressed with the amount of help and responses I've received. And that's after just joining up yesterday.
Looks like you're already on the road to no return. Windows tinted. Exhaust & remap booked. Alloys next. And all in less than 2 months! :wink: Good luck with it all! :smiley:
