« on: 17 February 2014, 17:21 »
Just thought i would say a quick Hello,

I was a member on here years back active on the Mk5 section (hence the username)

Just collected a Mk6 after Christmas and really enjoying the car.

Golf Number 9 for me now, just sold a 370hp S3 i had before,

So far ive been cleaning like mad and just added the R Skirts

Wife also has a MK6 GT TDI but didn't get a clean yesterday  :undecided:

Welcome back .

How you are finding it coming from the S3, was it an 8P?

Any plans for the MK6 power wise?

Thanks guys,

The S3 was good fun, i just i think the Golf as a good all-rounder is perfect,
the S3 felt a bit heavy and harder work for an everyday car, nice in a straight line
but fat knacker plodding around.

I like how you can plod around in the Golf as normal but have a bit of fun when you want.

I guess cant compare 100% as Golf is DSG (3rd DSG GTi), although i have had previous model S3
and felt the same.

Plans power wise is in the thinking, but.........  some H&Rs and 19s will be soon

Last 3 cars here, but at the moment i love getting in the GTi compared
