Wiring Loom to engine
« on: 17 February 2014, 10:41 »
Right I think I have sorted most of the connection points but have a few queries.

The main earth connection direct cable from the battery negative. Does that go to one of the starter motor mounting bolts?

On the loom that goes to the back of the engine there are two little earthing points, thin cable with O ring ends. have no idea where they go!

Any photos would be gratefully received.

All on edge of cam cover there's a stud.Well that's where I put mine anyway. No power when I tried anywhere else.

The stud on the head does ring a bell actually.

This cable has a shaped end as if it goes over something.
Dont think I have a stud on the head.

Mines in a mk2. Honestly can't remember if the stud is there on an abf or if I took it off the pb engine and put it there.

Actually thinking about it, it may have been on the rear corner rocker cover fixing?
