Wheel offset for GTi?

Hi

What is the wheel offset for the GTi please.
I have the chance to buy some Audi wheels as winter wheels which are sized as follows :
5 x 112 offset 45 8j width.
Candy White 3 dr Manual 2012 GTi. Bought new.
DAB, Dynaudio, Kenwood Head Unit Upgrade, Private Plate,
Full Leather and Heated Seats
18" Shadow Monzas, luxury pack.
Colour coded side skirts and gloss black diffuser.

I'm pretty sure they are ET51, meaning in inside lip of the new wheel will be in he same place as the original wheels, give or take a mm.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

offset between 40-45 will be fine on 8j

I have 7.5 wide wheels with an ET of 45 fitted at present and the fronts are only just covered by the arches, the rears are fine though, so not sure about 8", perhaps it depends on the wheel.

The insides will be in the same place, the outer lip will have 1/2" more poke. You can measure off the face of your current wheels to see where the new ones will sit.
