exhaust

I have a 3" exhaust and its fine with the car at standard height but im going lowering the car about 80-100mm. The problem is that when I lower it the axle will completely crush the exhaust.
I had 2 ideas (1) put the exhaust under the axle. (2)fit a pancake piece in place instead.
Does anyone no if these will work or does anyone have any better idea

I ran mine with the rears as low as they would go with the adjusters in along with a 3" exhaust, it was a tight fit but doable.

Thanks ill give it a try and see if it works. Also I wont be fitting the adjusters

I think with the adjusters out it will be too low, mine used to rattle on the rear beam if I had any weight in the back.

Ideally you want to 'squash' (for lack of a better word) the section of the pipe that goes over the rear beam, essentially like a pancake pipe.

Ya but should I let it get squashed or try fitting a pancake piece.
Would it restrict the flow if it got squashed
